How to make Matcha

3 easy steps

STEP ONE

SIFT

Sift 1 or 2 grams of matcha powder into a matcha bowl. Use the spoon to push the matcha through the sifter. Then add 70-100ml of hot water (80’c).

STEP TWO

WHISK

Whisk your bamboo whisk, start whisking the matcha in a zig-zag pattern for ~20 seconds until the powder is thoroughly mixed and no clumps remain. At this
point, there should be a creamy froth on top.

STEP THREE

POUR

Pour your matcha into a cup, then add water drink it pure, or directly add plant-based milk for making your favourite matcha latte.
